Welcome to the Minnesota Chapter of the Association for the Advancement of Social Work with Groups

Emphasize a strong commitment to promote group work practice in the profession of social work by offering continuing education and networking.
Our beliefs center on empowering people to maximize their strengths and interpersonal connectedness towards social competence, both individual and collective, which reflect social work values. Empowered by that competence, they will be active agents in the continuous shaping of society for the benefit of all members.
The Minnesota Chapter of AASWG is a member-directed organization. An annual meeting features a half-day workshop; program meetings throughout the year showcase group work models in action within our community.
